Bengoo Gaming Headset

I been using the Bengoo G9000 wired gaming headset for about two weeks now and I have to say that I really like it, the headset is very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. So my typical gaming sessions are any where from 1-12 hours at a time so I need a headset that's going to be comfortable to wear for long periods of time, I had a few cheaper headsets after 30 mins or so they started to hurt my ears or the sound was so bad i got a headache from wearing them. I play mainly shooter games like Call Of Duty, Battlefield, Fallout and GTA, sometimes I will play games that are non shooter type games and you need to be able to hear sounds and whispers from the games characters and this headset lets me hear those sounds crystal clear. The padding on the ears and head band are very soft with about 1/2 inch cushion on the ears and 1 inch on the head band, the headset has a flexible head band that allows the headset to twist and flex so no stress is really put on the band. Some headsets break on the band due to to much stress on the head band but these allow for that stress by flexing, the mic is really clear and works great in online game chat. I asked my team if i sound muffled or choppy and they said i sounded very clear, the headset has a volumes adjustment and mute switch on the cord. The cord is braided for strength and can be used for PS4, any phone with a 3.5 mm head phone jack, and a PC with a headphone jack adapter for mic and audio , the headset has a USB plug to power the headset lights but will not produce sound when plugged in to a PC. The USB plug on the headset is only to power on the gaming headset lights which are cool but not really a factor for me when I'm playing, all in all this is a nice headset for the price i paid for it. Now mind you it's not Turtle Beach or the PlayStation Wireless Gold series, I own both brands  of headsets and these aren't too bad. If you want a really nice headset and not have to break the bank buying a pair than this is the set for you, the headset retails on amazon for $23.99.

That's right Twitch is a streaming service that allows you to streaming your game play out for the world to see, now you don't need to be a pro gamer to use Twitch. All types of gamer's are broadcasting their game play out for the world to see from novices to the most extreme pro gamer, Titch has 1.5 million broadcasters and 100 million visitors per month to their site. So Twitch gives gamer's to show off their gaming talents and skills while spectators watch and chat through out the game, spectators can even donate to the gamer channel to help support him or her. You can stream with your PS4, Xbox 1 and PC, so your going to want to have a camera so your viewers can see you but if you don't have a camera at least have a mic so you can interact with your viewers as you play. Resident Evil 7 : Biohazard

I been going off how November is the most anticipated month for gamers with the new model PS4 coming on to the market, Battlefield 1 and the new Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare. And yes the new God of War hits the market in December, but what a way to kick off the new year of 2017 with the release of Resident Evil 7 : Biohazard!!!! I had the pleasure to beta test RE 7 on my PS4 recently and i have to say the game is very dark and creepy, really takes you back to the first RE on the PlayStation 1 in the big old haunted Umbrella mansion. The beta demo didn't really give you any introduction to any of the zombie like characters you'll be facing in the game but it did bring a lot of dark mystery to the game play right off the bat which left me wanting more. The game kinda gave me that Texas Chainsaw Massacre feeling when i played it for the first time lol, the game play was very dark and disturbing as you wander through this very run down old farm house looking for a key so you can escape. As in all RE game you have to search for clues and secret  doors and openings, I won't spoil how the beta demo ends in case you want to jump on your PS4 and download it yourself to give it a whirl. But wait there's more!!!!!! So for all you RE fans out there not only dose RE 7 comes out on January 24, 2017 but in that same month the final chapter of the RE franchise drops in the movie theaters! That's a double whammy does of RE for all you zombies fans who love the game and also the movie, I have included links to both video game play and the new movie trailer for you to check out. So keep being Nerdy and collecting Nerdy Tech Stuff and I'm out!

Peace :-)

PS4 vs PS4 Slim vs PS4 Pro

One of the biggest question going around in the gaming community is do I upgrade my system? Microsoft just launched the Xbox One S which is slimmer than the original Xbox One and supports 4K, well on the other side of the gaming world PlayStation has not only one console launching but two. So PlayStation has launched the PS4 slim and PS4 Pro that will go on sale in November, so here the big question. Is it worth going out and upgrading to the new PS4 line? Well let's start with the PS4 slim, there not really much to the PS4 slim compared to the original PS4. First off they are both a standard 500gb model in storage space with the option to get a 1tb model, both units have the same CPU and 8gb DDR5 ram. The only real difference between the two is that the PS4 slim is smaller than the PS4, how much smaller you ask? Well your looking about 1 - 1 1/2 inch difference in size and slightly lighter than the original PS4. Not really much of a incentive to go out and replace your PS4 just yet, now let's talk about the PS4 Pro. So this bad boy is running the same CPU and 8gb DDR5 ram as the other two PS4 models, but there a difference with the CPU speed which is over clocked on the PS4 Pro to a whopping 2.1GHz compared to the standard 1.6 GHz. Now here the biggest difference in the systems, the PS4 Pro is rocking a GPU that's capable of a blazing 4.20 teraflops compared to the 1.84 teraflops of the PS4 & PS4 Slim.  What does that mean??? With  that upgraded GPU your going to have much better graphic during game play and also the PS4 Pro has 4K HDR. Now the storage will be a standard 1tb on the PS4 Pro and is about 2 inches bigger in length and width than the standard PS4 and heavier in weight, also the PS4 will be equipped with 3 USB port and 1 in the back unlike the other two models with 2 USB ports in the front and 1 in the back. So now let's get down to the pricing on the two units, the PS4 slim will be going for $299.99 while the PS4 Pro will start out at $399.99, but with Christmas around the corner I be looking out for gaming bundles on both models. As you can see not really a big incentives to go out and replace your PS4 with a PS4 slim and only reason to buy the PS4 Pro is if your TV supports 4K. Now if they come out with a killer bundle on the PS4 Pro like an Resident Evil bundle I'll go out and get one since i do have a 4K TV. Let me know if your planning on upgrading or getting one of the new PS4 in the comments below!

Call Of Duty: Zombies In Spaceland

So I'm always checking out the gaming forms when I'm not working or playing video games and there are a few games coming out here very soon that i have my eye on. So the first one is the new Battlefield 1 which i am enjoying the beta on my PS4, this new Battlefield is very intense and have me wanting more than what the demo beta can give me so I have my copy on  pre-order and November can't come fast enough. But the one that I'm dying to play is the new Call Of Duty Infinity Warfare, and before you start throwing your plastic water bottle at me for wanting  COD over Battlefield 1 here is the reason why. I'm a boots on the ground type of gamer and that's what Battlefield gives me, I'm not really in to all the wall running, thrust jumping and crazy energy weapons. Really how can you take a chest full of lead and still kill me with boxing gloves or a baseball bat, but i'm not going to go there so enough about that. The main reason I'm looking forward to the new COD is the Zombies In Spaceland, yes we are getting a new zombies map that take place in the 1980's much like the Shadows Of Evils map that took place in the 1940's. So i got to check out some of the game play for the new Zombies in Spaceland map, and so far what's not to love! We got that mix of 80's retro colorful clothing, music and old style arcade and roller rink, 80's style boom boxes and the classic nerdy guy, jock, your 80's teen bopper girl and a LL Cool J looking character. Shadows Of Evil has been hands down my favorite map of the whole series but it looks like it mite get bumped down to my 2nd favorite map once the new COD comes out here in November. So I mite just need to let my boss know that I'll be calling in sick on November 4th lol, only cure for that sickness that day will be lots and lots of playing time on Zombies in Spaceland, check out the awesome YouTube trailer for the game and tell me what you think in a comment below! https://youtu.be/-hA3tlz8Mgo
